"TANKER 1" Series
2,000 gallon elliptical fire tanker, including an International Model 7400 heavy
duty chassis, a Darley 1,500 GPM front mount pump, dual hose crosslays, and a
2,000 gallon stainless steel water tank. Power is from a 330 HP Navistar diesel
engine, and an Allison MD-3060 five-speed automatic transmission.

This tanker delivers water!
The Darley 1,500 GPM pump can be used for pump-off operations, fire attack, or
for water supply operations at a hydrant, pond, or other source. The front mount
design offers easier access for drafting as well as full capacity flow
capabilities.

If the pump is the heart of the truck then the
pump panel is the brain. This custom fabricated recessed panel houses the
Darley Auto-pressure governor system which eliminates the need for a pressure
relief valve. There are also controls for the electrically operated tank
valves as well as the (2) pre-connected crosslays. All controls are
weatherproof minimizing problems later.

This "TANKER 1" Series
fire tanker is part of a "Tanker Task Force" in eastern Ohio, which
includes fire departments in three counties. The 2,000 gallon stainless
steel water tank can be filled with dual 2-1/2" rear tank fills in one
minute. The 10" Newton remote control rear dump valve can empty this
impressive truck in less than 72 seconds!

Other features include: Heavy duty 110,000 psi
double rail frame, Realwheel stainless steel inserts, a Darley PSF 1,500 GPM
front mount pump, front storage compartment, recessed front pump control panel,
a 3" large diameter discharge with 4" storz elbow, and pre-connected
1-3/4" and 2-1/2" crosslays with electric remote-controlled valves.
Other equipment includes large left side and right side stainless steel storage
compartments with roll-up doors, triple suction hose storage trays, a rear
bumper hose storage tray, and a fold-down storage rack for a 2,100 gallon
portable water tank. Warning equipment includes a Code 3 NFPA
warning light system with XL halogen light bar, LED flashers on all four sides,
dual halogen rear rotators, a 100 watt electronic siren, clear scenelights on
sides and rear of truck, dual Grover 24" Stuttertone air horns, 6"
custom NFPA striping, and gold custom reflective lettering.
